WHAT: Trumbull Council of Governments Executive Board
WHEN: April 24
The board:
• Heard from Kim Mascarella, planning director for Howland, on requests for funds for Howland to get a Niles Road house, which exploded last year, taken down and cleaned up. Funds were requested from COG for the remediation of the structure.
• Heard from Hubbard city councilman Jerry Crowe and Hubbard Township trustee Jason Tedrow about getting road grindings to improve roads in Harding Park.
• Discussed the procedure to be put in place for the use of a Mower Max by different communities.
• Approved Barb Scott of Farmington as treasurer for COG.
• Announced a tornado summit will be held 6 p.m. May 2 at Kent State Trumbull hosted by the Trumbull County Emergency Management Agency.
