BAZETTA — A Cortland man was found dead in the road after being struck by a vehicle on state Route 305, west of Mosquito Lake.

Steven Noe, 37, was fatally struck shortly after 9 p.m. while crouched down in the eastbound lane of Route 305 while wearing dark clothing, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Noe was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities say he was struck by a 2015 Ford Explorer.
