WHAT: Township trustees special meeting Monday

PRESENT: Chairman Michael Hovis, Vice Chairman Bob McBride, Trustee Michael Morelli and Fiscal Officer Stacy Marling

Trustees:

• Approved a resolution to provide and donate utility easements to Trumbull County. The easements are necessary to construct and maintain the Elm Road Waterline Improvements Project. One of the utility easements, P-2, contains approximately 0.2902 acres located outside the public right of way and known as being a part of the Trumbull County Auditor’s permanent parcel number 33-002500, a part of 2211 Wilson Sharpsville Road. The other easement, P-3, contains approximately 0.0831 acres located outside the public right of way known as being part of Trumbull County Auditor’s permanent parcel number 33-048800, a part of Warren Meadville Road.

• Approved a resolution to accept the 2024 Scrap Tire Grant from the Geauga-Trumbull Solid Waste Management District in the amount of $2,046. The collection period will continue through April. Tires without rims may be dropped off behind the salt shed at the Bazetta road department at 2211 State Route 305, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. Proof of residency is required.
