WARREN -- A Mineral Ridge mother pleaded guilty to an amended indictment Wednesday in connection with a 2023 incident involving her young children.
De'Ayra Hudson, 24, of Forest Ridge Court, could face a maximum of 18 months for fourth-degree child endangerment.
The Trumbull County Prosecutor's Office states that on May 24 Hudson's two toddlers were found unsupervised in the middle of state Route 46 in Mineral Ridge. The children were returned to the mother after a passerby discovered them. Earlier that month, Hudson had pleaded guilty to a child endangering charge in Niles Municipal Court.
Hudson appeared Wednesday before Trumbull County Common Pleas Court Judge Sean O'Brien, who will sentence her after the probation department completes her background investigation.
