WARREN — City police are investigating who fired a shot that struck the East Side Church of Christ.

A representative from the church at 150 Niles Road SE filed a police report on Saturday, about a week after he said a member of the church had discovered the hole in the interior wall that continued into an office inside the church, the report states.

The church representative showed police a hole in the sheet metal of an exterior wall. The representative told police no other damage had been observed other than the outer wall and two interior walls.

The report lists the suspect as “unknown.”
