NEWTON FALLS -- Village Mayor David Hanson and Trumbull County Engineer Randy Smith will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the grand reopening of the iconic Newton Falls covered bridge.
The event will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday at the bridge.
The keynote address will be given by former Cleveland mayor and former presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich.
There also will be music and remarks from various officials.
