A rollback tow truck, center, carrying the casket of Harry “Bud” Rodgers travels underneath an American flag held up by two other tow trucks on Tuesday at the Trumbull County Fairgrounds in Bazetta for “Bud’s Last Ride.” Rodgers died earlier this month at the age of 64. He was a longtime president of the Trumbull County Fair Board and was instrumental in bringing popular events such as the tractor pulls and school bus races to the annual fair. Rodgers was the owner of Bud’s Towing in Fowler. Towing operators from as far away as Cincinnati, as well as police and fire vehicles from the area, lined the midway to honor Rodgers. Spectators estimated Nearly 100 vehicles were in the fairgrounds procession.
