Warren woman opts to head to trial

Suspect accused of running over another woman with her vehicle

WARREN -- The Warren woman accused of running over a 36-year-old woman with her vehicle, resulting in the other woman's death in late 2022 has opted to go to trial.

The trial is scheduled for 1 p.m. Jan. 16 in the courtroom of Trumbull County Common Pleas Judge Andrew D. Logan.

Kenyana Pennock, 37, of Highland Avenue SW, appeared for a short hearing before Logan days before her trial on charges of murder, felonious assault and reckless homicide.

Pennock's charges were upgraded to murder after Jesaree Harris died as a result of being struck by a vehicle allegedly driven by Pennock.
