SOUTHINGTON -- The Board of Education has approved a contract with Paul Pestello as treasurer effective Feb. 1, 2024, to July 31, 2025.
He will be paid a prorated salary of $41,500 from Feb. 1 to July 31, 2024.
The board also canceled effective Jan. 31 the contract it has with the Western Reserve Educational Service Center for interim treasurer services. Pestello has been working for the district through the center's treasurer services. He replaces Joel Snider, who accepted another position.
