WHAT: Board of Education meeting Jan. 17
PRESENT: Ronda Bonekovic, Sarah Kurpe, Derek Mihalcin, Jerry Necastro and Melissa Sydlowski
The board:
• Approved a software service agreement with AssetWorks USA, Inc. effective March 1 2024 through Feb. 28, 2025.
• Approved a motion to accept donations to the Athletic Department from Betty Sanfrey and Nellie and Robert Holup in honor of James E. Miller. Sanfrey donated $50 and the Holups donated $25.
• Approved a motion to accept a clothing donation from Joe Pinchot for the school's pantry.
• Approved a motion to dispose of 30 worn or outdated books or materials from the school library.
• Approved the 2023 Clean School Bus Rebates Program certification through the Environmental Protection Agency Office of Transportation and Air Quality.
• Approved lane changes for Megan Totten and Jennifer Pirigyi effective Jan. 2. Totten will become a STEM teacher with a salary of $61,041 and Pirigyi will become a middle school science teacher with a salary of $62,081.
• Approved a request for Jennifer Pirigyi to take an unpaid child care leave, effective Jan. 22 through Feb. 2.
• Approved a request for unpaid leave for Peggy Kekich, effective Jan. 9 through May 9.
