The Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission issued a travel restriction Friday across the 241-mile toll road for all high-profile vehicles.

The restriction comes as the turnpike prepares for an expected winter storm that will bring high winds and snow. The restriction is in place from midnight to 6 p.m. Saturday.

High-profile vehicles have a height exceeding 7 feet, 6 inches. Vehicles such as high-profile tow-behind trailers, campers, boats, enclosed trailers, commercial trucks towing an empty single 53-foot trailer, all mobile homes, office trailers and livestock trailers, along with long combination vehicles that include double-trailer combinations exceeding 90 feet in length will be banned from traveling on the Ohio Turnpike until the travel restriction expires, or is canceled.
