HOWLAND -- One person was injured after a shooting at a bowling
alley in Howland on New Year's Eve morning.
A police report was sparse on details about the incident but says police responded to the Echo Lanes bowling alley at 2592 Elm Road at about 1 a.m. for reports of a felonious assault.
The report lists one victim and names at least five people involved in the incident with a single suspect listed on the report as "unknown."
A shell casing and two bullet fragments were collected as evidence, according to reports.
The status of the victim is unclear at the moment as we await further details from the police about the shooting.
