GIRARD -- City police on Monday asked residents to stay clear of Norwood Avenue following a morning water main break there.
"As of now, no one's water service should be affected," a post made around 11 a.m. on the department's Facebook page states. "If water needs to be shut off for repairs, it should only be for a handful of homes."
The department stated at the time of the post, no roads were closed to the public. It also cautioned, however, to avoid the area if possible.
The break was repaired Monday afternoon.
On Sunday, a water line break in the area of Mosier Road and Parkwood Avenue closed Mosier Road between South The line was repaired Sunday.
