BROOKFIELD -- A township baker has advanced to the semifinals of "The Greatest Baker 2023" competition.
Alisha Davis, owner of Sweet Tooth To Go in Brookfield, is among the top contenders in the $10,000 event, sponsored by Bake from Scratch Magazine.
"I can't thank everyone enough for continuing to support and vote for me," Davis said.
"With things getting so close to the finish, every vote counts. My family, friends, customers and new acquaintances I've met through this journey get just as excited as me about the competition and that really means a lot."

Another local, Vanessa Hall, was dropped from the competition during the quarterfinals. Hall is the owner of Noble Bakes, LLC in Girard.
