WARREN -- Howland Township police, assisted by the Trumbull County Sheriff's Office, arrested a Howland man Thursday on felony child porn charges.
Jeffrey Barton, 36, was arrested by police during an execution of a search warrant at his 8263 Englewood Street NE residence in Howland township.
The search warrant was part of an ongoing investigation by police and the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
Barton was arrested and taken to the Trumbull County jail, where he's held on a $25,000 bond.
During an arraignment in Warren Municipal Court on Friday, Barton pleaded not guilty to two counts of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor and two counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material.
Judge Thomas Gysegem ruled that Barton will be banned from using the internet and must surrender all internet devices including a modem and router.
Another municipal court appearance is scheduled for Barton on Dec. 19.
