WHAT: Board of Education November meeting

PRESENT: John Pitts, Patricia Fisher, Aaron Abrahamson, David Mahan and Jim Scher

The board:

•   Heard from Superintendent John Grabowski that high school teacher Sara Griffin received a $1,500 Inspire Educational Enrichment grant for the high school reading intervention program and elementary third-grade teacher Desiree Click received a $750 grant for digital whiteboards for students in the assessment program.

•  Created an additional full-time bus driver position.

•   Approved the Champion Robotics boosters group. The high school's FIRST Robotics season kicks off in January.
