Trumbull County grand jury returns 27 indictments

WARREN — A Trumbull County grand jury on Wednesday returned 27 indictments, including eight felony cases that were sealed.

The following felony indictments were made, with arraignments set within two weeks in the courtrooms of one of four Trumbull County Common Pleas judges:

•   Damien J. Binion, 26, Palmyra Road SW, Warren, failure to comply with order or signal of police officer, aggravated menacing and driving under suspension.

•   Jose A. Rodriguez, 23, Erie Street, Youngstown, two counts, possession of cocaine.

•  Thomas L. Hale, 35, Lane Drive SW, Warren, aggravated possession of drugs.

•   Valgene E. Erickson, 42, Oregon Avenue, McDonald, grand theft.

•   Elijah Turner, 19, Sheridan Avenue NE, Warren, tampering with evidence and having weapons while under disability.

•   Anthony M. Lough, 40, North Avenue, Girard, four counts theft, petty theft and misuse of credit card.

•   William L. Blair Jr., 47, Raveloe Court, Leavittsburg, domestic violence.

•   Anthony M. Hudson, 30, Fifth Street SW, Warren, harassment with a bodily substance.

•   Armonte L. North, 23, Hamilton Street SW, Warren, aggravated burglary and felonious assault.

•   Jahmere Cayson, 19, Dana Street NE, Warren, tampering with evidence, carrying concealed weapons and obstructing official business.

•   Emily M. Brown, 36, South Market Street, Girard, possession of fentanyl-related compound.

•   Tracy D. Justice, 63, Manhattan Avenue, Youngstown, possession of cocaine.

•   Julia Prokay, 32, Cedar Drive, Cortland, escape.

•   Patrick R. Braxton, 28, Canterbury Lane, Boardman, aggravated possession of drugs, possession of heroin, possession of fentanyl-related compound and falsification.

•   Samantha J. Woodford, 35, Pymatuning Lake Road, Andover, aggravated possession of drugs.

•   Calvin L. Wilson, 37, Dover Street SW, Warren, failure to comply with order or signal of police officer, aggravated possession of drugs with forfeiture and possession of cocaine.

The following misdemeanor cases were remanded to a lower court:

•   Dustin L. DeSmith, 38, Leavittsburg, criminal trespass.

•   Bryan N. Tavel, 37, Stewart Avenue, Hubbard, domestic violence, aggravated menacing and violating protection order.

•   Thomas R. Hilty, 38, Scott Street, Niles, failure to comply with order or signal of a police officer.

The following cases were no billed or no indictment was handed up:

•   Savannah E. Scherer, 27, Warren Avenue, Lake Milton, possession of cocaine.

•   Cecil E. Alexander, 38, Cleveland, trafficking in drugs.

•   Emmanuel J. Rodgers, 23, Boardman-Canfield Road, Boardman, three counts having weapons while under disability.

•   Timothy Tate, 43, Willis Avenue, Youngstown, receiving stolen property.

•   Andre T. Haynes, 32, McMyler Street NW, Warren, having weapons while under disability.

•   Damien J. Binion, attempted burglary, inducing panic and obstructing official business.

•   Jose A. Rodriguez, possessing criminal tools.

•   Dustin L. DeSmith, breaking and entering.

•   Elijah Turner, carrying concealed weapons.

•   Anthony M. Lough, theft.

•   Bryan N. Tavel, felonious assault.

•   Patrick R. Braxton, identity fraud, obstructing official business and resisting arrest.

•   Thomas R. Hilty, failure to comply with order or signal of police officer.
