WARREN -- A Warren man with more than 30 child sex charges stacked against him pleaded not guilty and had his bond reduced from $250,000 to $50,000 during his arraignment Tuesday.
After being arrested and originally facing only 10 charges, Blake McCormick, 22, of Blair Avenue NW, appeared before Trumbull County Common Pleas Judge Andrew D. Logan, where he pleaded not guilty to an indictment including 30 child sex charges.
Those include 15 counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving minors and 15 counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance.
All are second-degree felony offenses.
He was indicted last week by a Trumbull County grand jury on the additional charges.
The indictment indicates that McCormick either created, recorded, photographed, filmed, developed, reproduced or published material showing underage girls engaging with an adult male in a sexual manner.
A potential jury trial date was set for February 2024.
A Warren police report was sparse on details but indicated that law enforcement was tipped by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force leading to McCormick's arrest in mid-September.
