ROSARY RALLY: The eighth annual Greater Youngstown Area Our Lady of Fatima Public Square Rosary Rally will be at noon today at St. Anne Church, corner of Kirk and Raccoon roads, Austintown. There will be a public recitation to pray the Rosary in solidarity with 20,000 other rallies across the nation. Divine Liturgy at 10:30 a.m. and eucharistics procession at 11:30 a.m. Prayers will be said for America.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD: Southington Christian Church, 3285 state Route 534, will hold an Operation Christmas Child shoebox packing party 1 to 4 p.m. Oct. 21. Children and adults are welcome to take part.
BRISTOL CHURCH PROGRAM: Bristol Community Church, state Routes 45 and 88, will begin the first of eight weekly session at 4 p.m. Sunday. The gatherings will be to help those who are grieving the loss of a loved one and are offered free as a ministry of the church. Weekly handouts and refreshments will be available to those who attend. The two-hour sessions will be Sunday though the end of November. Pastor Shirley Frantz will lead the sessions. For information, call 330-889-3181.
LABYRINTH AT CENTER: The Ursuline Education and Wellness Center, 4280 Shields Road, Canfield, is concluding its 13th years of labyrinth walks. While the labyrinth is open year round, themed and guided labyrinth walks are offered by trained facilitators during the warm weather season. The public is invited to the free event. FAMILY HISTORY FAIR: The Akron Ohio Family Search Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints will host a family history fair 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 21 at the center, 106 E. Howe Road, Tallmadge. The event is free and open to the public.
STUDIES SERIES: Villa Maria Education and Spirituality Center, 2067 Evergreen Road, will host a new series, TaNaK Studies for Christians and Jews, "The Torah Made Flesh" with the Rev. George Balasko at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the conference center and via Zoom. The Zoom link will be available on the center's website. A freewill offering will be accepted. Registration is not required. MENTAL HEALTH SEMINAR: A seminar on mental health will be presented at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield, at 7 p.m. Thursday in the fellowship hall. A speaker from the Mahoning County Mental Health and Recovery Board will discuss how to recognize signs of a mental health crisis, how to ask the right questions and where to go for help. Parents and youth are especially encouraged to attend. This event is free and open to the public.
FALL FEST: Grace Church of the Nazarene, 5253 W. Webb Road,Youngstown, will host its annual fall fest 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 21. There will be a trunk or treat, food, hot chocolate, games, a photo booth, costume contest, bounce house and more. The public is invited.
HOMECOMING EVENT: In anticipation of its reopening, St. Patrick Church in Hubbard will host a Harvest Homecoming Wine and Craft Beer Tasting 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the church grounds, 225 N. Main St., Hubbard. The $50 admission includes hearty hors d'oeuvres and wine selections provided by Gatehouse Winery and Woodland Cellars Winery and Craft Beer, as well as a selection of desserts.
A reserved table of six is $250. Tables will be tagged with donor or corporate names. Entertainment will be provided by Nick Adduci.

MARRIAGE EVENT: The Catholic Diocese of Youngstown's Office of Pro-Life, Marriage and Family Ministry is sponsoring a second Wedding Anniversary Celebration this year to honor couples who are observing their 25th, 40th, 50th or over anniversaries in 2023.
The celebration will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Basilica of St. John the Baptist in Canton. The celebration will include Mass with the Bishop David Bonnar.
EVENING PRAYER: The Lutheran-Catholic Covenant Commission (Roman Catholic Diocese of Youngstown and the Northeastern Ohio Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America) will hold an Ecumenical Evening Prayer celebrating the Lutheran-Catholic Covenant, 6 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3295 S. Union Ave., Alliance.
Bishop Laura Barbins of the Northeastern Ohio Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America will preside and Roman Catholic Diocese of Youngstown Bishop David Bonnar will preach at this annual celebration of the covenant between the two bodies.
This is the 23rd anniversary of the Lutheran-Catholic covenant. The covenant signed Oct. 29, 2000, between Catholic Bishop Thomas Tobin and Lutheran Bishop Marcus Miller, confesses the faith shared by Lutherans and Catholics and dedicates them to prayer, study and action for Christian unity.
FIRST FRIDAY: The First Friday Club of Greater Youngstown Speaker Series season offers a luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 2 at Avion on the Water Banquet Center, 2177 W. Western Reserve Road in Canfield. Guest is Daniel Laginya, recently retired director of music at St. Columba Cathedral.
Laginya was the director of music for the cathedral from 1981 until his retirement in September 2022.
Laginya will present "A Retrospective on Music and Worship: Five Bishops and Five Rectors Later."

RELIGIOUS FAITH: The Church of Genesis, 303 N. Cedar St., New Castle, Pa., will host the second installment of its "Winning in Life" message series 10:15 a.m. Sunday. "The Power of a Positive Attitude" will be the theme. Featured speaker will be former Pirates manager Clint Hurdle, who was at the helm in Pittsburgh for nine seasons and was voted National League Manager of the Year in 2013.
