WARREN TWP -- Four co-defendants were indicted by a grand jury Wednesday and have been accused of burglarizing trailers in a mobile home park in Warren Township.
Shawn Bailey, 31, of North River Road NW; Kalyn Brown, 35, of Old Oak Drive; Ja Juan Martin, 27, of Douglas Street NW and James Serbin, 31, of Kuszmaul Avenue NW, are all charged with single counts of third-degree felony burglary under the indictment.
In August, each of them pleaded not guilty and were issued no-contact orders with the victim in Warren Municipal Court before Judge Thomas Gysegem. The municipal court judge said at the time that each defendant could face between nine and 36 months in prison if convicted.
Police were dispatched in the afternoon on a call of a burglary in progress at Warren Woods Estates Mobile Home Park, 180 North River Road, where a witness told police four suspects had burglarized one trailer and had moved on to another home.
All four of the suspects named in the indictment were arrested at the scene; two of them still were inside the trailer when police arrived and detained them.
Warren Township police were assisted by Howland Township police department on the call.
Three of the four still remain in county jail as they await their court hearings inside Trumbull County Common Pleas court in the coming weeks.
