Council:

•  Approved an ordinance on third reading authorizing police Chief David Morris to purchase a 2024 Ford Police Interceptor sport utility vehicle, accessories and installation for no more than $68,000;

• Approved an ordinance on third reading authorizing Service Director Kimberly Blasco to purchase a GapVax G7 flush pump from MTech for no more than $85,336;

•    Approved an emergency ordinance authorizing Blasco to purchase a dump body, snow plow, hydraulic system, spreader and accessories, for the 2023 Ford F550 4X4 Cab and Chassis Dump Truck in an amount not to exceed $59,012.45;

•    Approved an emergency ordinance authorizing Blasco to pay $13,835.67 to Kirila Contractors Inc. for the completion of the Warren Meadville Road Paving Project;

•    Adopted a resolution authorizing Finance Director Patti Gibson to request that the Trumbull County auditor advance $100,000 collected through real estate tax for use in the general fund;

•    Adopted a resolution authorizing Gibson to request that the county auditor advance $200,000 collected through real estate tax for use in the city's police levy fund;

•    Adopted a resolution authorizing Gibson to request that the county auditor advance $200,000 collected through real estate tax for use in the city's fire levy fund;

•    Adopted a resolution to adopt the alternative tax budget for fiscal year 2024 as authorized by the Trumbull County Budget Commission.
