WHAT: Trustee meeting Tuesday

PRESENT: Ed Anthony, Kay Anderson and Ryan Yoho

Trustees:

•   Heard from resident Dan Dean and several others from Raveloe Drive concerned with criminal activity at a property on the street, including incidents of person with guns and a knife, domestic violence, harassment of neighbors and loud arguing and noise. Trustees said they will speak with police on what can be done;

•   Heard from resident Julia Shutt of Eagle Creek Road on residents forming a group to meet and discuss issues of concern in the township. Residents are concerned with junk vehicles and high grass in their neighborhoods;

•   Heard from Road Superintendent David King, who asked trustees to consider another road department worker as a staff of three are handling 36 miles of roads;

•   Received a donation of two religious pictures from resident Nancy Ritz for the newly remodeled chapel at the cemetery;

•   Approved renewing the township's health insurance with Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield for 2023 at a 4.9 percent increase. The monthly premiums are single, $656; employee and children, about $1,070; employee and spouse, $1,441; and family $2,025.
