32-year-old man killed in Hubbard motorcycle crash

HUBBARD TOWNSHIP -- A Youngstown motorcyclist was killed in a crash Tuesday evening on U.S. Route 62, near Bell-Wick Road, according to the Warren Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Jonathon T. George, 32, of Youngstown, was operating a 2020 Harley Davidson FLHX motorcycle northeast on Route 62. At about 8:43 a.m., the motorcycle went off the right side of the road, overturned and struck a house, according to reports.

George was transported to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital, where he died, a report states.

Patrol officials said speed is believed to be a factor in the crash.

Route 62 was closed for a time in the area of the crash. Eagle Joint Fire District and Hubbard Township police assisted at the crash scene.
