Trustees:
• Hired Ron Bellus as a part-time clerical worker in the police department's administrative office on an as-needed basis. He will be paid $18.50 per hour;
• Hired Eric Hoso as a part-time zoning assistant at $18.36 per hour, and trustees accepted the resignation of part-time zoning assistant Thomas Keiran. Keiran has accepted a job as the Boardman Township zoning director;
• The board also accepted the resignation of full-time firefighter and paramedic Zachery Hileman for personal reasons;
• Approved two resolutions to spend some of the township's American Rescue Plan funds. One was for no more than $40,000 for improvements to the township gazebo and the other was for $10,000 for the Howland Food Pantry that will be given in monthly payments of $1,000.
