GROVE CITY, Pa. -- Kyle Conn, 32, of Highland Avenue in Niles, faces child pornography charges filed by the Grove City, Pa., police.
The charges, according to Grove City police, are attempt and criminal use of a communication facility, a third-degree felony offense. At the time of the offense, police said Conn lived in Grove City. He later moved to Niles.
Police were made aware of Conn following a tip they received in November 2021 from an associate of Conn's who told police the man had child pornography on an electronic device in his home. A second associate of Conn's also told police that Conn possessed, viewed or searched for child porn.
After securing a warrant, police searched Conn's home in December 2021 and seized an electronic device that was submitted to the Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Forensic Services. The evidence collected from the search prompted the charges against Conn, police said.
