Panel declines to indict in ’22 gun death case

WARREN -- A 30-year-old Elm Road NE man was given a no-bill on a murder charge by a Trumbull County grand jury.

Theodore Nolan had his $175,000 bail refunded to Fast Bob's Bail Bonding, according to the court record. Nolan was accused in the gunshot death of Lee Lambert, 36, of Austintown.

A no-bill in Ohio law means the grand jury decided, after hearing evidence and testimony given by the prosecutor and witnesses, not enough existed for probable-cause evidence to indict.

According to police reports, the fatal shooting took place in the 100 block of Charles Avenue SE. Police were dispatched to investigate about 5:45 p.m. Nov. 7, 2022.

Lambert was found dead at the scene.

The grand jury also handed up 28 indictments including five sealed charges. The following cases will be arraigned in the coming weeks in Common Pleas Court:

• Jennifer L. Zurick, 40, 3192 Roselawn Drive, Niles, aggravated vehicular assault, felony and misdemeanor endangering children counts and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence;

• Jeffrey O. Reesman Jr., 39, in care of Trumbull County jail, two counts aggravated possession of drugs;

• Cleveland Pope III, 35, in care of Trumbull County jail, assault;

• Anthony J. Holmes, 18, 603 High Ave., Niles, theft;

• Adam Wheeler, 25, 830 Oak Knoll SE, Warren, two counts OVI with forfeiture specifications;

• Nathan Johnson, 25, 2657 Tyrell St., Apt. 6, Youngstown, possession of cocaine;

• Darian Satterlee, 29, 1185 Henn Hyde Road, Howland, possession of fentanyl-related compound and possession of cocaine;

• Ladarryl R. Savage, 45, of Gallipolis, aggravated possession of drugs;

• David M. Turner Jr., 32, in care of Trumbull County jail, theft, receiving stolen property, forgery and passing bad checks;

• Tommie Lee Robinson, 48, 1411 Mount Everett Road, Hubbard, aggravated possession of drugs, tampering with evidence, illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia;

• Jerry L. Lough, 44, in care of Trumbull County jail, theft and receiving stolen property;

• Charles A. Wright, 49, 2330 S. Glenwood Ave., Niles, possession of fentanyl-related compound;

• Tyler A. Sharp, 22, in care of Trumbull County jail, robbery;

• Lisa J. Vivo, 51, in care of Trumbull County jail, aggravated possession of drugs;

• Elias L. Bray, 42, in care of Trumbull County jail, two counts possession of fentanyl-related compound and possession of cocaine;

• Amanda M. McAuley, 27, 2643 Poland Village Blvd., Poland, tampering with evidence, aggravated possession of drugs and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia;

• Molder C. Belden, 45,1 49 Porter St., Warren, failure to comply with order or signal of police officer;

• Kasey L. Goetz, 23, in care of Trumbull County jail, aggravated possession of drugs;

• Shedrick Brogdon, 32, in care of Trumbull jail, possession of cocaine and possession of fentanyl-related compound;

• Erick A. Rivers, 59, 346 Tod Ave. SW, Warren, tampering with evidence with forefeiture specification and improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle;

• Michael R. Boltres, 20, in care of Trumbull County jail, assault and violating protection order.

The following misdemeanor case was remanded to a lower court:

• Darnell A. Crayon, 29, 1660 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

The following cases were not indicted:

• Carlos D. Garcia-Mata, 24, 1070 Harvard SE, Warren, felonious assault;

• Arbie D. Murray, 28, 925 Youngstown Warren Road, Niles, trafficking in drugs, possession of drugs;

• Troy A. Brue, 53, 2637 Hunter Ave., Apt. 1, Youngstown, possession of drugs, third degree; two counts possession of drugs, fifth degree, and two counts selling or distributing dangerous drugs;

• Alan Farmer, 43, 250 Tod Ave., Apt. 305, Warren, burglary;

• Brent M. Wright, 28, 3006 Lancer Court, Warren, having weapons while under disability, carrying concealed weapons, improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle and possessing controlled substances;

• Crayon, receiving stolen property;

• Robinson, possessing drug abuse instruments;

• McAuley, obstructing official business;

• Goetz, possession of fentanyl-related compound;

• Rivers, having weapons while under disability;

• Boltres, resisting arrest.
