KINSMAN -- The Joseph Badger Board of Education has named William Burns of Hartford as the newest board member, to fill the vacancy when former board member Linda Walton stepped down.
Superintendent Edwin Baldwin said Burns was selected from four applicants. Burns will serve through December 2025.
Burns, a lifetime area resident, has a daughter who graduated from the district and a son who is a senior.
Walton moved out of the school district.
