WARREN -- A Trumbull County grand jury on Wednesday returned 36 true bills, including six sealed indictments.
Among the most serious offenses are the cases against Jeffrey A. Green, 35, and Marquis D. Porterfield, 25, who are both incarcerated in the county jail.
Green, of Peffer Street in Niles, faces charges of first-degree aggravated burglary, first-degree kidnapping, second-degree felonious assault and a domestic violence misdemeanor. The charges, which carry potential sentences piling up to almost 40 years in prison, stem from a Nov. 30, incident investigated by Niles police.
He is expected to be arraigned Monday before Judge Cynthia Rice.
Porterfield, of Sweetbrier Street SW in Warren, faces charges of two counts second-degree felonious assault with specifications of using a firearm in the commission of the crime and repeat violent offender; two counts of first-degree aggravated robbery with the same two specifications, two counts of abduction, carrying concealed weapons, having weapons while under disability, and receiving stolen property. He was arrested by Warren police following the Dec. 13 incident.
Porterfield also will be arraigned Feb. 6 before Rice.
The other indicted felony cases will be arraigned in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court within the next two weeks:
• JaDarryl Lofton, 26, 421 Southern Boulevard, Warren, carrying concealed weapons with forfeiture;
• Suzanne Ginty, 55, 1672 Shannon Road, Girard, two counts operating a motor vehicle while under the influence with repeat OVI specification and vehicle forfeiture;
• Brenda Berry, 65, 816 Homewood Ave. SE, Warren, aggravated possession of drugs, illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto grounds of specified governmental facility;
• Kareem J. Dowell, 34, in care of Trumbull County jail, abduction and domestic violence;
• Christopher Clevenger, 29, 4777 Damon Ave., Warren, assault on a peace officer;
• Jessica Dothard, 28, 357 Carroll St., Youngstown, possession of fentanyl-related compound;
• Chad Summers, 48, 3316 Red Fox Run, Warren, domestic violence and falsification;
• Carmen R. Hudson, 54, 1764 Market St., Youngstown, domestic violence.
• Alarrah L. Franklin, 27, 306 Sixth St., McDonald, two counts corrupting another with drugs, aggravated trafficking in drugs, trafficking in fentanyl-related compound and intimidation of victim, witness or attorney in a criminal case;
• Kirsten Kuhns, 32, in care of Trumbull County jail, felonious assault;
• Heather L. Shiflett, 33, 3003 South Ave., Youngstown, failure to comply with order or signal of police officer;
• Michael G. Coulter, 27, 656 Forsythe Ave., Girard, two counts possession of drugs and one count misdemeanor possession;
• Daniel R. Hilty, 33, in care of Trumbull County jail, two counts having weapons under disability;
• James P. Murray, 55, in care of Trumbull County jail, domestic violence;
• Scott D. Nelson, 40, 1905 Southern Blvd. NW, Apt. 67, Warren, domestic violence;
• Patrick S. Patterson, 57, 519 Logan Ave. NE, Warren, possession of cocaine;
• Anthony D. Carr, 40, 608 Tenney Ave., Campbell, aggravated possession of drugs, possession of fentanyl-related compound and possession of cocaine;
• Kristopher R. Stimak, 37, in care of Trumbull County jail, breaking and entering;
• Adonis A. Gantt, 38, 987 Warren Ave., Niles, failure to comply with order or signal of police officer;
• Jerry L. Lough, 44, 380 Freeman St., Warren, two counts, receiving stolen property;
• Sara L. Sears, 39, 707 N. St. Clair Ave., Girard, two counts aggravated possession of drugs;
• James C. Lawhorn, 47, 6278 Tod Ave., Warren, aggravated possession of drugs;
• William E. Metlicka, 54, in care of Trumbull County jail, domestic violence and violating protection order.
The following misdemeanor cases were remanded to lower courts:

• Jonathan T. Macrinos, 30, in care of Trumbull County jail, possession of drugs;
• Keagen Schreckengost, 18, in care of Trumbull County jail, aggravated menacing;

• Mahki J. Crank, 18, in care of Trumbull County jail, assault and criminal damaging.
The following cases were no billed or no indictments were handed up:
