WHAT: Board of Education meeting Tuesday

The board:
• Was told the Warren City Schools' Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame for 2022 will be April 30 at Harding High School with inductees William (Bill) Kush, Class of 1971; Manuel Maligas, Class of 1961; Dr. Kristen Pearson, Class of 2008; and Raymond Yannucci, Class of 1961. Distinguished faculty will be Anthony Beraducci, 1949 to 1980, and Frank Bubba, 1972 to 2002;
• Received a $1,098 Martha Holden Jennings Grant for enhancing first- grade integration for language arts, math, science and social studies with a unit called "Seed to Plant;"
• Accepted the retirement of secretary Sharron Napier, effective June 30;
• Set a special meeting at 1:15 p.m. May 2 for an executive session to conduct annual evaluations of the superintendent and district treasurer.
