WARREN -- A Warren man was indicted Thursday on a host of felony charges connected to a Nov. 3, 2021, incident where a woman in a Chevrolet parked at a Niles gas station told police she was being held against her will.

Aundre Armstrong, 48, of Belvedere Avenue SE, faces two counts abduction, two counts violating a protection order, two counts rape, kidnapping and menacing by stalking.

Armstrong, who is being held without bond in Trumbull County jail on a parole violation, is set to be arraigned next week in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court.

According to a Niles police report, a 33-year-old woman last fall told officers at the GetGo on Youngstown Warren Road that she was held against her will by the driver of a gold Chevrolet Impala parked at that location. According to the report, she accused the father of her children of abducting her for three days.

She said she was taken to a home on the west side of Warren and then they were driving around when he stopped at the GetGo looking for a place to sleep, the report states.
