22-year-old appears in court on sex charges
Staff report
BROOKFIELD — The Masury man accused of having unlawful sexual contact with a 15-year-old girl while in her parents’ house did not enter a plea during a Tuesday video arraignment before Trumbull County Eastern District Court Judge Marty D. Nosich.
Isiah J. Krzyston, 22, 603 Brookfield Ave., also is charged with criminal trespass due to his being inside the bedroom of the teen girl on Jan. 21, according to a court report.
Krzyston did plead not guilty to a charge of criminal trespass and not true on a probation violation charge. He was assigned a $40,000 bond. He is being held in the Trumbull County jail.
Krzyston has been ordered to have no contact with the teen or any of her family members as a condition of his bond.
He made admissions to officer Aaron M. Kasiewicz and then was transported to jail, according to a Jan. 21 police report.
Krzyston was placed on probation for one year on Dec. 3, 2021, as part of his obstruction of justice sentence for harboring the teen when she ran away from home in November. A part of the probation was an order he would not have contact with the teen.
A probation violation hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday before Nosich.
