WARREN -- Southwest side residents will be able to tell city officials how they would like them to spend nearly $28 million in American Rescue Plan funds the city is receiving from the federal government during a meeting 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Trumbull Community Action Plan headquarters, 1230 Palmyra Road.
The city already has had two community meetings -- at Packard Music Hall and at North Mar Church -- where citizens and elected officials provided suggestions on how the money should be used.
Mayor Doug Franklin, who moderated the discussions at each meeting, wants to have open community meetings in each of the city's four quadrants.
Surveys about the use of the ARP funds have been placed in city utility bills and can be done on the city's website, www.warren.org.
