ASHTABULA -- The body of an Ashtabula County woman who has been missing since Sept. 8 was found in Jefferson Township Monday afternoon.
Ashtabula city police officers confirm Crystal Garney, 46, was found dead near a railroad right-of-way between state Route 167 and March Road, according to a report from the Ashtabula Star Beacon. Three people were reportedly in custody.
Garney was last seen at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at her East 14th Street home in Ashtabula, the Star Beacon reported.
Police Chief Robert Stell had told the newspaper police had been interviewing family, friends and associates, and searching the area for Garney.
