HARTFORD -- The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred around 7 p.m. Wednesday on state Route 7 in Hartford.
David S. Siege, 63, of Brookfield, was traveling north on state Route 7 on a 2001 Ultima Custom motorcycle. Siege drove off the left side of the road, struck a tree and was ejected from the motorcycle, according to a patrol report.
Siege was transported to Sharon Regional Hospital in Sharon, Pa., by Brookfield Township EMS, where he later died. Brookfield police and firefighters were assisted at the scene by Hartford firefighters.
