Dispatchers honored for heroism
SOUTHINGTON — Three dispatchers working at the Southington post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol were honored Friday for their heroic actions on March 24.
Dispatchers Nicholas W. Johnson, Stephanie M. Palumbo and Matthew C. Smith were each presented certificates of recognition by Warren District commander Capt. Nakia Hendrix in a ceremony at the Southington post.
The three dispatchers used their training to save from a potential drug overdose an unresponsive man found in the parking lot of the post, according to a patrol news release.
