Police investigate store break-in

WARREN -- Police are investigating the early Monday break-in at the Smart Mart convenience store on Youngstown Road SE.

Officers arrived at 4:24 a.m. to find the front doors open with the deadbolt lock still out. The glass on the door was shattered, the report states, as if a blunt object struck it.

Officers could not find anything disturbed, the report states. The store owner later told officers there is no money left in the store because of a previous break-in. The owner said it does not appear anything was taken.
