WHAT: Board of Education meeting Feb. 10
PRESENT: Dan Denman, Tami Morrison, Dan Schwartz, Kevin Blair and Don Donaldson
The Board:
• Heard from Superintendent Perry Nicholas that all grades except kindergarten are doing in-person learning five days a week. He said the students and staff have indicated they prefer this. Previously, grades seventh to 12 were on a hybird schedule, with portions of students attending on different days, while grades one to six have been in person since August. Kindergarten is on a hybrid schedule;
• Heard from Treasurer Merri Smith that the district will receive $127,000 in Esser II Funding Foundation funds, with a portion to be used to help the cafeteria fund, which has been providing free lunches to students this year. The remainder of the money will be budgeted where needed.
