WARREN -- Two people were arrested on warrants after Warren police officers were called to a Westwood Street NW address Thursday night to investigate a disturbance involving guns.

A caller told a dispatcher an argument ensued among a group of people; two with guns were threathening the others at the home.

Four officers came to the home and two people came out, carrying the guns openly. The two cooperated with authorities, the report states.

Officers had to coax three others to come out, the report states.

Two of them, Crissy Lee Wortman, 39, and Jonah Mazzochi, 39, were arrested on active warrants from Warren Municipal Court. Wortman was being held without bond in a theft and endangering children case, while Mazzochi was wanted for a probation violation linked to a 2019 possession of a fentanyl-related compound conviction in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court.

Mazzochi, who lived at the Westwood Street address, will be held until his court date on Monday, records show.

According to a Howland police report, Wortman, of Raglan Drive, is accused in late January of shoplifting at the Country Fair on state Route 46 with her two daughters, ages 9 and 13. She is scheduled for a preliminary hearing 1:30 p.m. March 18 before Warren Municipal Judge Thomas Gysegem, court records show.
