WHAT: Township trustee meeting Dec. 9.
PRESENT: Rebecca Whitman, Mike Bridge and Phil Wilhelm
Trustees:
• Reported the community building at the center has an extension to June 30 to be completed. Whitman said the township received funds from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and needed to have the project done this year but because of the weather and COVID-19 an extension was allowed. She said most of the work is expected to be done by the end of the month. Plans for a dedication are set for this spring;
• Reviewed $147,000 in CARES Act funds received by the township which was used for a police vehicle, touchless restrooms, new community sign and other items;
• Set the year-end meeting for 7 p.m. Dec. 29.
