WHAT: Township trustee year-end meeting Tuesday

PRESENT: Ted Webb, Bob McBride and Frank Parke

Trustees:

Road supervisor Kris Parke's credit card covers three departments of cemetery, roads and parks. Officials said this will help fiscal officer Cynthia Chapman know where each expense came from;

• Heard from fire Chief Dennis Lewis, who was at the Burghill Vernon Fire Department, that 104 COVID-19 vaccines arrived Tuesday and 100 more Dec. 29 for frontline workers and first responders in Trumbull County. He said workers were vaccinated with the Moderna vaccine, which requires two doses;

• Heard from police Chief Chris Herlinger that touchless doors are being installed at the department using CARES Act funds, with the project to be completed by February;

• Reported the zoning department will investigate a complaint on Miller's Landing of a property where old boats and cars are being stored. Webb said officials will check to see if the property owner is in compliance. McBride said a letter has been sent to the property owner;
