WARREN -- A Warren woman on Wednesday chose to go to prison rather than undergo an intense probation supervision after being convicted of a drug offense.
Angela R. Bell, 36, of 300 Scott St. NE, Apt. 2, was given a seven-month term at the Ohio Reformatory for Women in Marysville. Bell asked Judge W. Wyatt McKay not to send her to a Northeast Ohio Community Alternative Program and five-year probation.
Bell on Oct. 7 pleaded guilty to a possession of heroin charge that came out of a Dec. 15, 2019, arrest by Warren police.
