HOWLAND — With Howland Local Schools Treasurer Rhonda Baldwin-Amorganos leaving Feb. 3 for a treasurer position with Niles City Schools, the Howland Board of Education is accepting applicants.

Board President Julie Altawil said the board accepted Baldwin-Amorganos’ resignation Thursday at a special meeting and posted the treasurer job Friday through the Trumbull County Educational Service Center.

Closing date for the position is Feb. 5.

She said during the interim period as the board seeks a replacement, Lori Simeone, treasurer with TCESC, will assist the district.
