WARREN — Four men accused of sexually related crimes are among 55 indicted Monday by a Trumbull County grand jury, including a man arrested several times in the last few years on charges of public indecency.

Eric J. Shannon, 33, 3358 Tanya Ave. NW, was indicted on one count of public indecency after reports were made Oct. 26 to Warren police. He is scheduled to be arraigned Jan. 6 before Trumbull County Common Pleas Judge Peter Kontos. He is being held without bond in the Trumbull County jail and was booked into the jail for the 15th time Oct. 29.

Shannon is accused of exposing his genitals next to the dumpsters near Monroe Street and touching himself inappropriately in front of an employee at North Road Coin Laundry, according to police reports.

At the time of his arrest, he was free on bond from a petty theft case filed in Warren Municipal Court.

Shannon has been charged five previous times in the past four years on similar charges, according to jail booking records.

Justin W. Robinson, 36, 10466 Holcomb Road, Newton Falls, was indicted on charges of attempted illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material or performance and two counts of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles. Jan. 12, 2018, is listed as the incident date on court records and the Cortland Police Department is listed as the reporting agency. He is scheduled to be arraigned Jan. 16 before Judge Ronald J. Rice. He was booked into the jail Nov. 18 and released Nov. 20 on a $7,500 bond.

Ryan L. Newell, 24, 216 Iddings Ave. SE, Warren, was indicted on two counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and importuning connected to a July 1 incident investigated by the Warren City Police Department. He was released on a $2,500 bond Oct. 24 after spending a night in the jail. An arraignment has not yet been scheduled.

Christopher A. Russell Jr., 27, 123 George St., Niles, was indicted on three counts of rape, attempted rape, kidnapping, domestic violence and tampering with evidence in connection to a Nov. 18 incident investigated by Niles police.

The victim is a woman, 24, who was injured, according to a police report.

Russell is scheduled to be arraigned Jan. 8 before Judge W. Wyatt McKay. He was released on a $75,000 bond on Dec. 19 and the judge imposed a no contact order with the victim.

The others who were indicted are scheduled to be arraigned in the next two weeks. Those indicted are:

Desmond L. Clark Sr., 38, Woodcrest, Youngstown, petty theft, remanded to Girard Municipal Court;

Laytton M. Shepherd, 26, Oakland, Youngstown, possession of drugs and endangering children;

Rachel M. Austin, 22, Diehl South, Leavittsburg, petty theft and misuse of credit cards, remanded to Newton Falls Municipal Court;
