WARREN TOWNSHIP -- The Ohio State Highway Patrol was called out late Friday to a two-vehicle accident off Main Avenue SW and Burnett East Road.
A patrol trooper said they received the call just before 10 p.m., and crews were still at the scene late Friday. He did not know how many people were involved in the accident.
A 911 spokesman said various safety and fire crews from Warren Township and Warren city were called to the scene. He said he believes a Life Flight helicopter also was being called to the scene.
A Warren Fire Department spokesman said they assisted at the scene byhelping to get people out of the vehicles. Warren crews cleared the scene before 11 p.m.
The road was closed for a short time.
