U.S. Rep. Timothy J. Ryan, D-Howland, announced Sunday on the MSNBC cable network he is suspending his campaign for the Democratic nomination for president.
The congressman said he is going to come back to Ohio in the wake of Sunday's mass shooting in Dayton to provide leadership.
Dayton is not in Ryan's district, which includes parts of Trumbull and Mahoning counties.
