School supply drive underway

WARREN — United Way of Trumbull County is conducting its annual Second Semester School Supply Drive, now through Jan. 31.

“We all want to make sure our students have the necessary school supplies at the start of school, but many don’t realize that it’s an expense that is felt throughout the entire school year,” said Ginny Pasha, CEO and president of United Way of Trumbull County. “We hold this Second Semester drive because we understand that students need these tools all year long.”

School supplies can be donated at 10 area Dollar General stores, Trumbull Family Fitness and six Warren-Trumbull Public Library locations.

School supplies needed for the supply drive include spiral notebooks, loose leaf paper, three-ring binders, pocket and pronged folders, No. 2 pencils, colored pencils, pens, highlighters, crayons, school glue and glue sticks.

To make a monetary donation toward school supplies, checks and money orders can be made payable to and mailed to United Way of Trumbull County, c/o Second Semester School Supply Drive, 3601 Youngstown Road, SE, Warren, Ohio 44484 or donate online at www.unitedway trumbull.org/second-semester-school-supply-drive or text “Trumbull” to 41444, and select your designation.
