Local National Day of Prayer events set May 3
WARREN — The Trumbull County Prayer Movement will host the 67th annual National Day of Prayer with two events on May 3.
The first event that day is a gathering at 7 a.m. at the National Packard Museum, 1899 Mahoning Ave. NW, which will feature guest speaker President William McKinley portrayed by Mike Wilson.
Event organizers said the event will begin with a buffet breakfast at 7 a.m. followed by a program at 7:30 a.m. The doors will open at 6:45 am. The program also will include special music.
Individual tickets for the morning event are a donation of $12 per person. Churches, businesses or individuals can sponsor a table by purchasing tickets in groups of eight for $96 per table.
Tickets are available at the Tribune Chronicle, 240 Franklin St. SE, or Warren First United Methodist Church, 309 N. Park Ave., or to order tickets by mail, call the Tribune Chronicle at 330-841-1696. Deadline for tickets is Friday.
In addition to the morning event, there also will be an evening event 6 p.m. at the Packard Park Shelter House, 1703 Mahoning Ave. NW in Warren. Refreshments will be served at 6 p.m. followed by the program.
Paul “Dunner” Dunleavy from the Fellowship of Christian Athletes will share his story. This is a free family event with no tickets required. Prayers will be said for the nation and praise to God.
