VALENTINE'S TEA: The February Girls in Faith Tea, a special Valentine's Day event, will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Jericho Center in Cortland. Hosted by Brenda Jarvis of Golden Street Ministries, the event is open for girls of all ages and men, as well, because this is a Valentine's Day function. NIGHT OF PRAISE: Mount Olive Baptist Church, 385 Martin Luther King Drive, Warren, will hold a Night of Praise and Song with the Mighty Golden Wonders 6 p.m.today. Guests include Brother Brown Street Gospel of Youngstown, Sons of Joy in Youngstown and Singing Wonders of Canton.
WHITE MASS: Youngstown Bishop George Murry will be the principle celebrant and homilist for the 21st annual White Mass 10:30 a.m. Sunday at St. Columba Cathedral, 154 W. Wood St., Youngstown. The White Mass is for all health professionals, including mental health workers, to recognize and celebrate the ministry of all those in the healing professions. A reception will follow at St. Columba Hall.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: The Four Chaplains Service will be held 1 p.m. Sunday at First United Methodist Church in Warren, 309 N. Park Ave. Members of the Howland American Legion Post 700 will take part to remember the Four Chaplains of the USS Dorchester.
BLACK HISTORY MONTH: Beulah Baptist Church, 570 Sherwood Ave., Youngstown, will hold Black History Month programs 4 p.m. each Sunday in February. Health and wellness will be the topic Sunday, and a talent show will be Feb. 19.
GOSPEL SING: Corner House Christian Church, 6954 Chestnut Ridge Road, Hubbard, will host a Southern gospel sing 6 p.m. Sunday. There will be a video and music. The Traveling Sisters, a women's outreach ministry, will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday. The church will hold a 30-hour famine, with teenagers collecting canned and dry goods for the Hubbard Food Pantry and cash donations for world hunger.
HONORING MEMBER: Elder James Johnson of Eastside Church of Christ in Warren was honored by the church on his 95th anniversary. He was part of the church's ministerial staff for more than 65 years and is among the oldest members of the church. Pastor is Ronald Fowlis.
NIGHTS ON THE FAMILY: "Another Two Nights on the Family" will be held 7 to 8:30 pm Mondays at St. Michael Parish Hall, 300 N. Broad St., Canfield.
This Monday, Bishop George Murry will speak on "The Vital Role of the Family in Church and Society." Murry participated in the Ordinary Synod on the Family in Rome in 2015 that contributed to Pope Francis's Apostolic Exhortation Amoris Laetitia (On the Joy of Love).
On Feb. 27, a panel of local experts will address "Bullying: What Can Be Done About It?" Panelists include Det. Sgt. Delphine Baldwin-Casey, victim assistance coordinator for the Safe Environment Program; Donna Mertes, counselor at St. Michael School, Canton; and Nickie Ostick, community educator and outreach specialist at Christina House.

NEW SERIES: The Catholic Television Network of Youngstown will be presenting a new series ''Sacraments 101," which will debut Feb. 22 and be shown 10:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. Wednesdays. The series will take an in-depth look into the seven Sacraments of the Catholic Church: Baptism, Confirmation, Holy Eucharist, Reconciliation, Anointing of the Sick, Matrimony and and Holy Orders. BEATLES MASS: Christ Episcopal Church, 2627 Atlantic St. NE, Warren,will hold its sixth annual Beatles Mass 4 p.m. Feb. 25. There will be a sing-along and food following the event.
PARISH HOLDS FUNDRAISER: Blessed Sacrament Parish, 3020 Reeves Road NE, Warren, will host its 15th annual Pasta Cook-Off and Wine Tasting 12:30 p.m. Feb. 26 at the parish's Covelli Gymnasium. Local restaurants / professional chefs feature their pasta dishes and local amateur chefs also compete with their dishes. Celebrity judges assist in determining who gets the gold, while attendees assist in determining the People's Choice. Proceeds from the event benefit the American Heart Association's Heart Walk.

SPIRITUAL LIVING SERIES: The Ursuline Center is hosting the spirituality series Pathways to Spiritual Living 10 to 11:30 a.m. and 6:30 to 8 p.m. March 8 and April 5 at 4280 Shields Road, Canfield.
Presenter Eileen W. Novotny will explore the long-lost tradition of human spirituality and reconsider its primary significance in the human search for meaning and purpose in life. She'll examine Celtic, Ignatian and Franciscan paths of prayer. Participants also can suggest paths of spiritual living for reflection.

CONFERENCE PLANNED: The fifth annual Diocese of Youngstown Catholic Men's Fellowship conference will be March 4 at St. Thomas Aquianas High School, 2121 Reno Drive NE, Louisville. PRISON MINISTRY PROGRAM: The Office of Lay Ministry Formation of the Diocese of Youngstown will offer a course on the basics of prison ministry from 7 to 9 p.m. for six consecutive Thursday evenings beginning on March 2 at Christ the Servant in Canton. Participants will learn how to get started from a theological, logistical, and practical ministry perspective all in the context of prayer, fellowship, and networking with others interested in prison ministry.
The course will also discuss other opportunities, such as ministry to the families of those incarcerated and re-entry ministry. TORAH STUDIES: "Torah Studies for Christians" with Rabbi Saul Oresky and Rev.
