YOUNGSTOWN – A Liberty man faces a charge of obstructing justice in connection to a homicide investigation in Youngstown.

Anthony M. Brown, 20, 3131 Hadley Drive, No. 3, was indicted by a Mahoning County grand jury last week on the felony charge in the case connected to the July 19 shooting death of Ralph Thomas, 20. Brown was being questioned in the investigation, according to Tribune Chronicle newspartner WKBN 27.

If found guilty of the obstruction charge, Brown could face up to three years in prison.

Charged in connection to the shooting is Deondre M. Gayles, 20, 51 Lemans Drive, Boardman. He faces charges of aggravated murder, murder, attempted murder, two counts felonious assault with firearm specification, tampering with evidence and having weapons while under disability.

l Kathleena Mascarella, 30, 135 16th St., Campbell, burglary and theft;

l Ronald Gilbert, 39, 475 W. Judson, Youngstown, possession of heroin and possession of cocaine with forfeiture specifications;

l Michael J. Stevenson, 33, 52 N. Portland, Youngstown, burglary;

l Eric Viera, 31, 2117 Manhattan, Youngstown, obstructing official business and possession of marijuana with forfeiture specification;

l Mark Moore Sr., 51, 9190 Springfield Road, Poland, possession of cocaine;

l Joseph Solomon, 26, 57 E. Judson, Youngstown, possession of drugs;

l Michael F. Seidita, 25, 84 W. Wood St., Lowellville, two counts misuse of credit cards and two counts theft;

l Jason Negron, 35, 614 Brookwood Lane, Maitland, Fla., possession of marijuana and aggravated possession of drugs with forfeiture specifications;
