YOUNGSTOWN – A Liberty man was named Thursday in a superceding indictment charging him with felonies in the attempted abduction earlier this year of a Canfield woman at her home.
Darryl L. Adams, 53, 463 Montrose St., was indicted by a Mahoning County grand jury on charges of attempted abduction, kidnapping, attempted gross sexual imposition and sexual imposition.
According to reports from Tribune news partner WKBN 27, a woman living on Indian Run Drive in Canfield told police a man came toward her as she was taking out the trash. As the woman tried to go back inside her apartment, police said the man pushed his way inside and grabbed at her clothing.
Adams was originally indicted in February on two counts of attempted abduction, but the grand jury added more charges to the case this week.
